DEMOPOLIS FACILITY

At the request of their customers, the Prystups began the search for a second location in 1993. The goal was to find an existing building which was far enough from Livingston to eliminate loss concerns, but close enough to eliminate the need for a second management team. In December of that year, Prystup Packaging purchased a 117,000 square foot building in nearby Demopolis, Alabama. It is unlikely that a destructive storm would strike both locations and one is only a half-hour drive from the other. Although it presently provides $10,000,000 of production capacity per year, the Demopolis plant can easily house a second production line and additional support staff.
