LIVINGSTON FACILITIES
Prystup Packaging Products printed its first sheet in a 40,000 square foot metal building in Livingston, Alabama’s North Industrial Park. Although operations have since moved to larger quarters, the company’s original home still serves as a warehouse. Because it once housed a complete manufacturing facility, the production areas and shops, electrical service and office space in Building #1 can be quickly reconditioned to accommodate future growth.
Prystup’s second facility in Livingston is located just across a field from Building #1. With double the square footage (84,000 square feet), the company’s new headquarters easily accommodates production operations as well as administrative functions. This plant is equipped as follows:
- Plate making Shop for offset presses with computer-to-plate equipment
- Komori 6/color 28”x 40” sheet-fed offset Printer with extended delivery and aqueous coating station (for a total of 7 units), computer-controlled ink fountains, register both directions
- Twin Komori Lithrone Printer to be in service Spring 2006
- 2 Bobst two-station blanking Die Cutters
- Die Maintenance Shop with CAD/COD for laser die making
- Sugano Die Cutter
- Sugano straight-line Folder/Gluer
- International right-angle Folder/Gluer
